HRC 551 Series Anchor Heads

HRC 551 Series Anchor Heads are a 2-piece end anchor that attaches to reinforcing bars with an HRC 500 upset head.  HRC 551 are available in both 4Ab and 9Ab head sizes and are an alternative to standard hooks for A706/A615 Grade 60 and 80.  Since it is uncommon for hooks to be bent on #14 and #18 bars, headed bars are used frequently when straight development lengths cannot be achieved. These Anchor Heads reduce congestion, improve constructability and ease field installation.
